Our Programs

Infant Program: 6 weeks – 18 months old

At Evart Daycare and Learning center we strive to create a Home Away from Home for your child. Teachers in our infant room are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for each and every child. Teachers will plan age appropriate activities daily for children. These activities will be purposefully and thoughtfully planned in order to help your baby grow and meet developmental milestones. Staff will record the following daily: diaper changes, nap times, tummy time & other activities, as well as feedings.

 

Toddler Program: 18 months – 3 years old

Come learn and explore with us in our Toddler classroom. Through the HighScope curriculum our teachers purposefully plan activities to promote early academics and independence. Activities will support language development, fostering friendships and emotional growth, all of which are the building blocks to a successful school experience. Our toddler room teachers are committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment for your little one to learn and grow in.

Preschool Program: 3 – 5 year olds

Preschool is an exciting new adventure in your child's life and a positive experience can make all the difference. Our teachers are dedicated to providing your child with just that. A key component to our Early Preschool Program is creating a safe, secure, and fun learning environment where children feel comfortable to explore and grow. Our daily schedule will provide both flexibility and consistency for your child.

 

Teachers will plan out meaningful lessons and activities that align with the HighScope Curriculum. Lessons are geared towards furthering development emotionally, socially, physically, and academically. Our teachers also understand the important role of play in a child's growth and schedule the day with a healthy balance of free choice play and lessons.

Before & After School Care: Before & After School care is available at Evart Daycare and Learning Center. Your child will have the opportunity to ride the bus to and from school each day. Upon getting off the bus, children will have an after school snack, then will spend time working on homework. After a brief homework period, children will head outside and later have free choice time on their room.
